Founded in 2009, Blood Donors of America (BDA) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization committed to saving lives through blood donation awareness and community drives across all 50 states. Beyond blood, BDA also leads bone marrow matching campaigns and health education programs on fitness, diet, obesity, and preventive care. Just one pint of blood can save up to three lives—a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness make a big difference.
We’re proud to announce the official registration of the Southern California Chapter on July 31, 2025, in Los Angeles. Our SoCal team is driven by compassion and community spirit. Together with students, local organizations, and volunteers like you, we’re committed to hosting regular blood drives and promoting a culture of healthy living.
